R&D
The Research & Development function brings together all the processes, starting with fundamental research or an invention, that ensures the industrial feasibility. It covers all the stages involved in moving from the research laboratory to industrial production in a factory.
It develops innovations, which are the industrial and commercial applications of a discovery or invention.

Innovation is our DNA
At WARE ID, innovation is our DNA, and in just 5 years we have brought two new products to market (FREESCAN, X-SCAN). We have filed a patent and obtained a FRENCH TECH grant. We invest all our time in research and development. Our pre-sales engineers analyse the market, listen to our customers and pass on all this information to our R&D department. A good technology watch enables a company to seize promising niches.
It’s then that the magic happens : a collaborative effort combining the skills of everyone involved to come up with a pragmatic innovation that responds to the needs of the field.

X-SCAN
For decades, supply chain operators have been using terminals or PDAs to carry out their traceability tasks. Often too expensive and oversized for their intended use, we have come up with a solution that could transform an industrial smartphone into a real barcode reader.
Compact and lightweight, X-SCAN attaches to the back of your CROSSCALL smartphone to transform it into a mobile scanning solution.

« DESIGNED AND ASSEMBLED IN FRANCE
X-SCAN is the first Crosscall product to be designed and assembled in France. To achieve this, the Crosscall teams relied on two French partners specialising in their field: WARE-ID, an expert in automatic identification in the logistics sector, and Cordon Electronics, an expert in the manufacture, repair and recycling of electronic products.
This new accessory demonstrates Crosscall’s commitment to initiating its production process in France. »
